We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010. Our Single Equality Scheme sets out our equality objectives and shows our commitment to promting equality and diversity at the centre of our business.
Throughout 2012, our Equalities Group will implement an action plan recently approved by our Board of Management.

Our Welsh Langauge Scheme shows our commitment to treating the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality . We want to provide the best services to everyone we work with, regardless of the langauge they choose to use. We are currently reviewing our scheme and welcome your feedback to help us.

Other languages
We use Google Translate on our website as a useful tool to help people translate our text into the language of their choice. We also use the 24 hour Language Line which offers over the phone interpretation in many languages.
Health and Safety
We have a dedicated team who are committed to the health, safety and welfare of our tenants, clients, staff, visitors, members of the public and everyone that may be affected by our day-to-day business.
They identify hazards, assess and manage risk and work on improving all aspects of our health and safety performance. They can give advice and practical support on:

- Chemicals – Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
- First Aid and Emergency Aid
- Fire Safety
- Moving and handling
- Policies and procedures
- Risk assessments

The OHSAS 18001 certificate is an assessment specification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems developed to help businesses meet health and safety obligations.
