Transfer

If your circumstances change, you can apply to move to another Gwalia property. Some areas have long waiting lists but to give you a rough guide, you can have a look at the types of home we have in each area and the waiting times for them.

We allow tenants to transfer if:

  • You have been a tenant for 6 months
  • Your home is in good condition
  • Your rent is up to date

Swap

HomeSwapper logoYou can also swap homes tenants from all over the UK. This service is run by HomeSwapper who search for other tenants wishing to swap whose home matches your needs.

Ending your tenancy

If you would like to end your tenancy, you need to give us 4 weeks notice by writing us a letter. You need to include your full name and current address and the letter must be signed by you. If you have a joint tenancy, both tenants will need to sign the letter.

We will still charge you rent, even if you give less than 4 weeks notice.
